Well Everyone wants to change the design of his/her blog. And this is most important requirement in wordpress and others blogs, because lots of people always posted something illigal, something download content, which they don’t want that Google or his regluar users read this content, that’s why Users always exclude this category from Homepage, Exclude from Feeds, Exclude from Search Engines and more. Well So, How we can Exclude this category from Homepage, Feeds, Search Engines and Other Categories.
So, I’ll explain the esiest way to include and exclude a category, category posts
1. Try This code, If you know much about wordpres and Programming
<?php if ( is_home() ) {
query_posts( ‘&cat=-4′ );
}
// your usual Loop can go here
?>
In this code, is_Home() means that you want to exclude this category to Homepage. and &cat=-4; means Which category you want to exclude, You can check your category Id from your Category panel, Just like this image.
and the (-) minus sign is you want to exclude it, if you want to include this category from homepage just remove this sign.
